Insomniac CEO/founder Pasquale Rotella makes moves to further divulge himself and his company into the music scene. He is partnering up with Interscope Geffen A&M to create the label, Insomniac Records. For those of you who don’t know, Pasquale is the man who makes EDC happen; after twenty years of slowly introducing America to electronic dance music culture. This will be the first EDM label for Interscope- we’re excited to see where it goes!

What’s cool about Insomniac Records is that anyone can send in their music to insomniacrecords.com for a shot at being chosen to be on the label. The first song to be released by the label is “Up All Night” by Russian producer Arty (Artyom Stolyarov) who has been steadily climbing the ranks. The success of Insomnia Records has yet to be determined. But the long-standing achievement of IGA in the music industry combine with Pasquale’s undeniable hand in launching the popularity of EDM through the roof will be a lethal combination. He had a few words to say about the new partnership-

“We formed Insomniac Records because we saw the need for a label that fosters the unique talents of dance music artists while also giving them a powerful platform to share their music with fans around the world,” said Rotella. “The Interscope team has an unparalleled track record of success and I believe that with our combined efforts, Insomniac Records will launch the careers of undiscovered artists while also attracting established producers, allowing them to create music that the fans will love.”
